Linus Manchester - 2026 Reel
Linus Manchester is a documentary filmmaker with a passion for stories that bridge gaps. I'm a DP and Editor based in Washington DC whose work has covered topics ranging from environmental protection to social justice. I tell stories in an effort to bring people together. In my branded work, I apply the principles of documentary storytelling to build authenticity and establish trust. I work with individuals and brands to elevate their message and reach larger audiences. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from American University's School of Communication in 2023 with a dual degree in Film and German Studies. I'm lucky to continue exploring my interests as a filmmaker, both by deepening my technical skills in the craft and broadening my understanding of the world and the issues I care about. My favorite projects are the ones that ignite my curiosity and inspire me to apply my skills to meaningful work. I've had the privilege of working in roles ranging from Production Assistant through DP on such projects and continue to search for opportunities to contribute in whatever capacity I can. Notable clients include YouTube, Food Network, Semafor, and various government agencies. Across all my work, I'm driven by my passion for storytelling and my belief in the power of video to create change. www.linusmanchester.com Email: linus.manchester@gmail.com Instagram: @linusmanchester

I love shooting passion projects to get more experience, try new techniques, and have full creative control. In this video, I talk about my experience shooting my first mini doc on the Sony FX6. I detail a summary of the project, what I like about the FX6 (especially coming from a DSLR body), a mistake I made, and some lessons learned for next time. Steeped in Time: A Tea Bag Artist's Story (Short Documentary)
Mark Adler is fascinated by details. After falling in love with watercolor painting in retirement, he found the opportunity for a new challenge: painting on recycled teabags. Mark has created over 200 paintings on the tiny canvases since 2023. Drawing on his decades of experience as a lawyer and his many years perfecting his model train set, each of his works requires painstaking detail and, above all, patience. STEEPED IN TIME explores Mark's story, his work, and the mindset it takes to paint a work of art on a tiny everyday object.
